When I See You Again – Gillian King

Another wonderful feel-good story from Gillian King, who cannot be missed in our top 6. She has already won twice in Chicklit’s feel-good of the year competition. Lily’s best friend has asked her to watch her daughter for a few weeks. When she finds out that her best friend’s brother, Seb, is also coming to babysit, there is no turning back. However, Seb is her ex and this causes the necessary tension. A story in which the past and present are well alternated.

Everything that moves – Susan Smit

A beautiful true story about the American dancer Isadora Duncan. After she became pregnant by a married man, she moved to Noordwijk. She is still in contact with that man and hopes that he will choose her and form a family with her. The emotions are easy to feel and it is therefore easy to sympathize with her. The reader is well taken into the last months of pregnancy, with all the problems that infidelity entails.

Soul of Ashes and Blood – Jennifer L. Armentrout

This fantastic book by Jennifer L. Armentrout is another beautiful Fantasy story. We have already met Poppy and Cas in the previous four parts. To become a primal goddess, Poppy must go through a certain sleep. However, no one knows how long that will take. In the meantime, gods are already awakened when Poppy is still fast asleep. Cas becomes increasingly stressed about whether everything will turn out okay.

The Murder in Ink – Helen Cox

The first part of this series is about Kitt Hartley who is interrogated by Detective Halloran. Kitt’s best friend is suspected of murder and has given her up as her alibi. That is why she is now also suspected of murder. Her best friend’s ex-boyfriend has been murdered and that causes all kinds of emotions. When Kitt goes to investigate, this leads to exciting situations.
