We recently published an article on Crypto Insiders about an investor with the ironic pseudonym Crypto Nerd. He invested his entire fortune of $1.15 million in pepe (PEPE), before losing it all. After his loss, he had less than $1,000 in his bank account.
Although Crypto Nerd invested with leverage, a risky and highly regulated trading technique in Europe, his story is an important starting point to ask the following question: ‘Is it smart to invest your entire assets in crypto?’ Based on Crypto Nerd’s story, the answer is clearly: ‘no’. Or is it a bit more nuanced than it seems?
