A scooter was set on fire in Vlissingen early Saturday morning. The police are looking for people who saw something suspicious.

The burning scooter was discovered around 6 a.m. this morning on a garage square between Singel and Van Dishoeckstraat. The East Souburg fire brigade was urgently called to extinguish the fire.

The police have now announced that the scooter may have been set on fire. The police are calling on people via Instagram to report if they have seen anything suspicious. A family member of the scooter owner also places a call on Facebook and addresses possible witnesses.
