‘Liverpool is considering activating ‘escape clause’ Kudus’

Liverpool are reportedly interested in the services of Mohammed Kudussays the usually well-informed David Ornstein in the The Athletic FC Podcast. The Ghanaian – currently playing for West Ham United – is said to have a ‘release clause’ in his contract, which would make a summer takeover possible. The journalist does not attach any amounts to the clause. Ornstein himself thinks that the agile left-footer can still be admired at his current club in London after this season. ‘He’s new to the club. So far he’s doing great. I think he wants to stay for a while.” Kudus is having a strong debut season in the Premier League with seven goals and five assists. With his team West Ham, the Ghanaian currently occupies eighth place in the competition.
