Dieuwertje Blok and the Sinterklaas news
Since 2001, Dieuwertje Blok has been the face of the Sinterklaas news. She calls it ‘the best job in the Netherlands’. From 2003 onwards, Blok also started presenting the Sinterklaas arrival, together with Rik Hoogendoorn and since 2007 with Jeroen Kramer. Blok is at home in all markets. Valuable contribution to Sinterklaas culture
In December 2012, Dieuwertje Blok was honored with one Golden Pepernoot Oeuvre Award during the Golden Gingerbread Gala, because of her valuable contribution to the Sinterklaas culture in the Netherlands. Moreover, she was killed in October 2013 during the Golden Televizier Ring Gala awarded the Golden Stuiver in the category ‘Best Children’s Program’ for her role in the Sinterklaas news.
