“I am currently single and ready to mingle“, the mother of two laughs. Staying together for their children is not something Rose believes in, but that doesn’t mean the decision was made overnight. “You don’t decide to break up in one go. That went on over a long period of time. It’s been three months now.”

That she can laugh at the ‘single and ready to mingle’-remark is because she and Gregory still have a good relationship. It’s just not a love affair anymore. “He is the father of my children and I would be very sorry if we broke up in a bad way,” the model clarifies.

Gregory’s mental problems affected their relationship. “There are a lot of people who deal with this. It’s not talked about enough and in my case if you don’t know enough about it, it’s very difficult to understand that person.” Rose found it difficult to help Gregory, as much as she wanted to. “It hasn’t always been easy to deal with. It breaks my heart that he feels this way and that I can’t help it.”

Rose still stands by her choice and tries to stay positive after the breakup. “It’s nice to spend some time with myself. I was very young when I met him. You live your life with someone. You make choices based on that person. Now I am a mother of two, at the peak of my career and it’s good for me to make choices without anyone being involved.”
