OUD-VOSSEMEER – On Saturday, November 25, the saint will be welcomed in Oud-Vossemeer. The Sint-Nicolaas Committee Oud-Vossemeer Foundation has opted for a new design this time. The square on Raadhuisstraat will be transformed into a vibrant square.

A stage will be erected on the square where Sint-Nicolaas and all his helpers will be welcomed by Mayor Marleen Sijbers, various music companies and a dance group. This will be followed by a light parade through the village. The Piets have brought a nice surprise from Spain for this. After the parade, the festivities on the square will continue.

The attractively lit square will also focus on the inner man. There are various food trucks available where Churros, fries and snacks are available. Of course there are also various drinks for sale for all ages. There is also an oliebollen stall. From 12:00 noon, fresh hot oliebollen are for sale on the square on Raadhuisstraat. The official program starts at 4:15 PM.

Sinterklaas Theater

On Saturday, December 2, the Vossenkuil village hall will be transformed into the large Sinterklaas theater. In addition to a prominent role for Sint-Nicolaas and his helpers, the dancers of House of Margueez will provide a dazzling dance show. Afterwards, the famous magician Jeffrey Wijkhuisen will entertain the children with a spectacular toy show.

There is also the opportunity to have your picture taken with Sint-Nicolaas and his helpers. Naturally, the music during this afternoon will be provided by the Pete band from Madrid. The hall opens at 2:00 PM and the theater show starts at 2:30 PM.
