In November 2021 we took a look at Daphne and Daan’s special upstairs apartment. The couple managed to turn the dated, old house in the Oranjebuurt into a new, stylish home. Last week we saw Daphne and Daan with their home in the television program Binnenstebuiten. How are they doing now, and with the renovated house?

When the couple bought the house in 2020, a lot of work still needed to be done. They found it with purple siding, yellow window frames, mint green walls and brown rings of smoke and moisture on the ceiling… Do you remember?

In seven months, Daphne and Daan transformed the house in the Oranjebuurt into a real palace. “The woodwork was neatly painted and the kitchen could remain after a budget makeover,” Daphne told us in the previous interview. “Initially we were only going to tackle the bathroom and remove the soft board, but that involved a complete renovation.”

And so after seven months of renovation!

And how are things going now?
