PEIZE – After a full Mariahoeve Concert Season, the Mariahoeve Foundation can now announce the last concert of this season. This is on May 11 and starts at 3:30 PM.

Last year, board members of the Mariahoeve Foundation attended the Eibergen Chamber Music Festival (at Pentecost again and very worthwhile!) and heard Robbrecht van Cauwenberghe on bajan (special accordion) and Kalle de Bie on cello in a musical work by Sofia Gubaidulina, a Russian composer who wrote this piece about “good and evil”. Very current. ‘Robbrecht talked about it very passionately and yes, that passion came across completely. You can hear it!’, said Ton Le Coultre. With violinist Floor Le Coultre they play works by A. Piazzolla and M. Glinka, among others. This trio will play on Saturday, May 11, at 3:30 PM in the Church of Peize. ‘A nice end to the season. On to the next season, which will be opened by chansonnier Philippe Elan on September 21.’

More about the planned concerts on the Mariahoeve Foundation website: www.stichtingmariahoeve.nl. Reservations by email: [email protected] or call: 0505717693. Free entrance up to and including 23 years (register by email: there is a limited number of free places); 24+ pay €20 (including drinks and treats before and after the concert).
