HubSpot, the customer relationship management (CRM) platform that helps companies grow worldwide, has established itself in the Netherlands. This month HubSpot opened its office in the Mondriaantoren on Amstelplein in Amsterdam. With this, the hybrid company, with more than 7,000 employees and some 150,000 customers in more than 120 countries, is further expanding its international presence. HubSpot also recently opened offices in Ontario (Canada) and Madrid.

HubSpot chooses Amsterdam partly because of its strong ecosystem. Amsterdam is one of the fastest growing tech hubs in Europe: worldwide, the Netherlands is in fourth place when it comes to the total market cap of public tech companies. International customers and partners play a huge role in HubSpot’s mission to help millions of organizations grow. In the first quarter of this year, international revenues accounted for 46% of total revenues.

Christian Kinnear, Chief Sales Officer at HubSpot: “Over the past few years, two things have become clear to me. First, businesses around the world need simple yet effective tools to keep growing. Second, employees are looking for flexibility in when, how and where they work. By investing in growing our global presence, we can provide our customers with the right service wherever they are, and provide tech talent with a flexible working environment in a successful and ambitious international organization.”

The Amsterdam office uses 100% renewable energy, just like the other HubSpot offices. In addition to focusing on a sustainable future, the company is committed to diversity. For example, 50% of HubSpot executives are women, including 4 at the C-suite level. HubSpot, recently recognized for the second consecutive year as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Marketing Automation Platforms, was also named #2 Best Places to Work in 2022 by Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Awards. The Amsterdam office must radiate the same energy for employees, with a great eye for flexibility and transparency.

Yamini Rangan, CEO of HubSpot: “We are excited to open HubSpot’s doors in Amsterdam and join the local tech community. Our international activities are growing year after year and the Netherlands offers a great opportunity for further growth. We are passionate about helping scalable businesses grow. I look forward to expanding our impact, thanks to our local customers, partners and employees.”
