Man stabbed to death in Rockanje after quarrel

In Rockanje (South Holland) a 23-year-old man from Ukraine was stabbed to death last night. Police say it is believed that an altercation preceded it. A suspect, a 40-year-old man from Croatia, has been arrested.

The stabbing happened just before 2 a.m. on Windgatseweg. A mobile medical team and a trauma helicopter were on site, Rijnmond writes, but help was of no avail.

Police arrested the suspect in the same building where the victim was found. He was injured in the hand, police said, but was treated at the hospital.
