Jill Roord is injured at Wolfsburg, Lieke Martens good for two assists and Vivianne Miedema wins against Juventus | Foreign football

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder from Oldenzaal was briefly out with an ankle injury, after she sprained it in a duel. The seriousness of the injury will be examined tomorrow. Roord was replaced by the Icelandic Sveindis Jane Jonsdottir, who shortly afterwards assisted Ewa Pajor’s opening goal and made it 2-0 herself shortly before the break.
