gave a humble interview prior to Ajax’s home match against PSV. The Ajax striker talks to: ESPN that PSV is ‘of course’ favorite for Saturday evening’s match (8 p.m.) in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
The difference in the rankings between Ajax and PSV is currently enormous. After nineteen rounds, Ajax is fifth in the Eredivisie and has no less than 21 points less than PSV. The Eindhoven team only dropped two points in competition this season. “It’s a really fun competition. Matches against PSV are always fun. They are of course the favorite,” says Brobbey. “But there are certainly opportunities for us,” the Ajax striker adds.

Brobbey draws confidence from the first meeting between Ajax and PSV earlier this season, at the end of October. PSV then won 5-2 at home. However, Ajax played an excellent first half in Eindhoven and brutally took the lead twice in the first half. “I think we played really fantastic in the first half,” Brobbey said.
Brobbey managed to score one goal himself in October. However, he could have ended up on the scoreboard more often if he had been more careful with his opportunities. “If I had taken my chances, and so had others, I think we would have been well ahead at half time,” said Brobbey.
