The action is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Farmers will take action at Rilland along the A58, at the Oesterdam and at a few bridges on Tholen. It is not yet known how many people will participate, but the reactions are pouring in, according to farmer Hubert Gaakeer from Stavenisse.
The farmers are campaigning against the nitrogen measures. The actions are a follow-up to last week’s protests. Because according to the farmers this has not yielded any results, there is a lot of enthusiasm for new actions. Yesterday there were also blockades at several locations in the Netherlands, causing long traffic jams.
The flyer was distributed via WhatsApp groups on Monday morning. They will not block the roads, because according to Gaakeer you only create unwillingness and distance.
