Several vehicles were dispatched to the scene of the fire that raged throughout the building. The extinguishing work was aimed at preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.

The fire service pushed some of the electric delivery vehicles off the facade to prevent the vehicles from catching fire.
Next to a hospital
A lot of smoke was released from the fire. The distribution center is located next to a hospital, but according to the fire service, it was not affected by the smoke.
No crime scene
Nothing is known about the cause of the fire. The team of the Twente fire brigade will investigate this today.
The spot is not yet designated as a crime scene. The police are therefore not investigating further because they have no reason to think that it was lit, a spokesperson for the fire service said.
