It concerns the following proposals: a throw-in becomes a kick-in, dribbling is allowed on a free kick, there is a 5-minute penalty, unlimited substitutions are allowed, the pure playing time is introduced.
“Recently, KNVB officials updated UEFA and FIFA about changes in the rules of the game, which have been tested in the Netherlands since 2017 in amateur football and in tournament form at the promise teams of professional football organizations,” says Van der Zee. “Changes that should make the game faster, sportier, fairer and more attractive. The aim is to realize a pilot for the Kitchen Champion Division in the 2023-2024 season. In this, the adjustments will be tested in consultation with the clubs and the International Football Association Board (IFAB).
