There they are again! As you are used to from us, we will also help you with pool tips during the Tour de France 2022, so that you can beat your friends and colleagues in the various cycling games. This week we are launching one tip every day for WielerFlits Team Leader, but you can also use them in other pools!

Of all the races on the calendar, there is one that every cyclist and cycling fan dreams of winning; the Tour de France. And it is no different for the cycling pools. Forget about all the other pools you play with your family, friends or colleagues. It’s all about the win in the 2022 Tour Pool of WielerFlits Ploegleider! You can win this.

You can use Youri IJnsen’s recommendations when filling in your own pool, but of course you don’t have to. For the real cycling freaks, the names will come as no surprise. But for the people who are cycling fans only during the three-week Tour de France, that’s a different story. You know the big names, but if you are not a big follower it is sometimes quite difficult. With the tips you can easily finish a few places higher.

Strategy tip #1

In WielerFlits Ploegleider you play each stage with eight basic riders. Only these eight can collect points for your team. You also have five reservations. You may make one substitution per stage. Because you want to have the best possible basic team, it is best to fill the reservers with riders who will cost you one or two points of your budget. Make sure that they are usable riders, because if one of your basic riders registers, the first reserver will be part of your basic team for the next ride. The same applies, of course, if you make a bill of exchange.

Which tips do you take with you in your Tour Pool? And what does your selection look like? Let me know in the comments.
