Start times team time trial La Vuelta Femenina 2024

The first big tour of the season for the women starts today: La Vuelta Femenina (April 28-May 5). Just like last year, we kick off with a team time trial. CyclingFlits list the starting times.

The Gran Salida takes place this year in Valencia. A 16 kilometer chrono test is on the program in Spain’s third city, over a not very interesting course. It is a back and forth trip on the main road. Halfway there is a quick turn through a 180 degree bend, but after that the riders will probably only have to anchor once when turning onto the last straight line.

The Norwegian Coop-Repsol kicks off the event at 3:56 PM. Exactly one hour later, at 4:56 PM, Movistar is the last to start. After all, last year the Spanish team won the home round, thanks to Annemiek van Vleuten. Demi Vollering, who finished second in 2023, is now back and is the top favorite for the overall victory. Her SD Worx-Protime team will depart penultimately on Sunday, at 4:53 p.m. There are therefore three minutes between the start of each team.
