FC Twente and Joseph Oosting immediately put an end to rumors about a transfer to Feyenoord this week. The coach was briefly mentioned as Arne Slot’s successor, but will extend his contract with FC Twente.

Jan van Staa can understand that Oosting’s name is now mentioned by other clubs. “He is just very successful with his team and he is part of that,” he notes the East Stand. As always, Oosting responded very level-headed to the rumors, but Van Staa thinks it does something to him. “If you are mentioned at Feyenoord you are probably a little proud.” The one who seems to be going from FC Twente to Feyenoord is Gijs Smal, although according to Tijmen van Wissing, this is not yet complete.

Myron Boadu is also discussed. It remains to be seen whether the hired striker will still play for FC Twente. “He is training again, but he has a hamstring injury. You have to be careful with that, you also see that with Brobbey. It is just a very annoying injury,” Van Wissing explains. The reporter sees that Boadu has not delivered what was hoped. “He has had his value, but we expected much more from Boadu. Van Wolfswinkel is on a roll this calendar year.”
