Supporters of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton don’t seem to be each other’s best friends recently, but after the Hungarian Grand Prix, two groups of fans proved that rivalry and sportsmanship can indeed go hand in hand. In fact, there was even laughter after the Verstappen fans had played a joke.
Verstappen being booed at Silverstone and Paul Ricard and Hamilton seeing Mercedes caps set on fire at the Red Bull Ring and Hungaroring: things are not always friendly between the supporters of both drivers. Fortunately, most of the fans show a completely different side, including the two groups of fans in the video below. After the race in Hungary, which was won by Verstappen, a group of Mercedes supporters had a nightcap in Budapest. However, they were visited by the Verstappen supporters.

The images below, filmed by one of the Verstappen supporters, show a group of Mercedes fans having a drink on a terrace in Budapest. A female Verstappen fan puts on her naughty shoes and walks towards the boys. She takes a few cans of Red Bull from her pocket and puts them on the table with the gentlemen. The Mercedes fans visibly have to take in what exactly is happening, but when they realize that this is a playful joke, they laugh. They can absolutely appreciate the action and one of them makes a cheers gesture towards the other Verstappen fans, who were watching a few meters away. That’s another way to do it.
