During the nine house searches, the Brussels Capital-Ixelles police zone discovered three active cannabis plantations, representing a total of 1,562 plants. In addition, 5.5 kilograms of marijuana were found, in addition to more than half a kilogram of cocaine and a small amount of heroin.
“A lot of drug money was also found,” the police zone said. In addition to 124,000 euros in cash, the police also found 25 small gold bars and 45 silver bars. In addition, there were weapons in the targeted homes: two firearms with silencers and a carbine. Finally, the police confiscated luxury clothing worth about 20,000 euros.
Eleven people were arrested in total. They have been made available to the investigating judge. “The local detective of the police zone concerned dealt a serious blow to the drug environment this week,” said a spokesman for the police zone.
