Russian crypto billionaire dies after mysterious helicopter crash – third crypto-related death in month

A Russian crypto billionaire has died in a helicopter crash, making it the third mysterious crypto-related death in the past month.

Vyacheslav Taran, 53, died after the helicopter he was flying in crashed near the town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Many wonder if this was an accident, or if sabotage was involved. The weather was beautiful when the helicopter crashed. In addition, there was actually another passenger on board the flight, but he canceled at the last minute. This naturally fuels speculation about sabotage.

A 35-year-old French pilot was also killed in the crash that killed Taran, who co-founded the training investment platform Libertex and Forex Club.

He is survived by his three children whom she shared with his wife Olga. Taran lived in Monaco for the past 10 years.

“The Board of Directors of Libertex Group and the employees of the company extend their sincere condolences and sympathy to the Taran family.”

The French authorities and Airbus, the manufacturer of the H130 helicopter, have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

The news of Taran’s death comes on the heels of the unexpected death of Tiantian Kullander, the 30-year-old founder of a crypto company called the Amber group who passed away in his sleep on November 23. The Amber Group was valued at around $3 billion.

Prior to Kullander’s death, tech millionaire Nikolai Mushegian drowned on a beach in Puerto Rico on Oct. 29. His family had been concerned about his well-being and mental health for some time and are convinced that no foul play was involved.
