The two men who died on Sunday morning in a tragic car accident on the A6 motorway between Lelystad-Noord and Lelystad are Vishal Sharma Kamta and Nizaam Dahoe Hoessein. They were connected to the Hindustani music group DanceXotica.
The editors of Waterkant.Net learn that the band had a performance in the night from Saturday to Sunday in Roden, near Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands. On their way back, the two would have left the road with their vehicle and ended up in a ditch along the highway.
Police received a report around 8 a.m. on Sunday that a car had ended up next to the road.
“It could be that slipperiness played a role. It may also have happened earlier in the night, that is uncertain. We assume a single-vehicle accident,” said the police, who are still investigating the exact cause of the accident.
