Russia puts former top Ukrainian security official on its wanted list

Russia has arrested the former secretary of the Ukrainian National Council for Security and Defense, Oleksey Danilov, added to the wanted list. The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Sunday.

It was not disclosed why Danilov is wanted. The ministry only reported that “Alexey Myacheslavovich Danilov, born on September 7, 1962 in the city of Krasny Luch, Luhansk region, is wanted under an article of the Russian Criminal Code.”

On Saturday, Russia also put Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the wanted list, Russian media reported. It was also not disclosed what he is wanted for.

Russia previously also put the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kallas, on the wanted list. A Lithuanian minister is also wanted by Moscow. (Belga/Editorial)
