Statements from Dutch soldiers and other witnesses were used for the charges. The judiciary and police also had video images of a bystander and a surveillance camera. It would have turned out that Duncan was the shooter.

A photo of the suspect was distributed in America.

The local newspaper The Indianapolis Star previously saw court documents, which showed that Duncan was part of a group that was out for an argument last Saturday. Another group of men did not respond to the provocations. Later, the Dutch commandos hit the mark. The Dutch tried to calm the situation at first, but a fight nevertheless ensued.

fatal shots

According to a witness, one of the fighters would have been knocked down, after which another shouted that he would go get a firearm. After the groups split up, the Dutch walked to their hotel. When they were standing in front of the entrance, a pickup truck drove by from where the fatal shots were fired.

The 26-year-old corporal was hit in the head with one bullet outside the Hampton Hotel, the newspaper said. He later died in hospital. More Dutch commandos stayed in the hotel, who participated in an exercise in the state of Indiana. The two wounded soldiers and the remains will be transferred to the Netherlands this week.
