20:03 – Accident with truck on A15 near Gorinchem
On the A15, just past Gorinchem, there is still a traffic jam towards the east of the country. This is due to a truck accident. PUR foam has ended up on the road and must be cleaned up. The cleanup work is likely to last well into the night.
17:30 – House in Dordrecht closed due to illegal sex work
A house on the Leerparkpromenade in Dordrecht has to be closed for a month by the mayor. During a check, two sex workers were found in the building who sexually gratified their customers for a fee.
They also used the entire house for their work. The two do not live in the Netherlands and turned out to have already worked in several Dutch cities. The person who rented the building received a serious scolding from the municipality of Dordrecht. The owner of the property has voluntarily cooperated in the closure.
4:15 pm – Woman in Hellevoetsluis taken from water severely hypothermic
A woman was taken from the Haringvliet near Hellevoetsluis. She lay there in the water, holding on to a buoy. The woman was taken to hospital with severe hypothermia. Police say she slipped while walking her dogs. The dogs did not end up in the water and were taken care of by the emergency services.

The police have arrested six people in various places in our country, including our region, because they have something to do with narcotics. The investigation into this was already started last year. The reason for this was the discovery of ecstasy pills and amphetamine in a truck.
The cargo came from a warehouse of a company in Oostrum, Limburg. The street value is between 10 and 15 million euros. An investigation led to the arrest of six men this morning. It concerns three suspects aged 21, 27 and 31 from Vlaardingen. The other suspects come from Rijswijk, Venlo and Waddinxveen.
10:48 am – Boy (13) arrested with machete in Spijkenisse
A 13-year-old boy was arrested with a machete in Spijkenisse on Monday afternoon. A 16-year-old boy has also been arrested. He also had a machete with him.
The police were called around 3 p.m. that two boys were walking along the Marrewijklaan wearing face masks. The officers encountered the two on the Drempelpad. The boys immediately started running. Both boys dropped their machetes. Both boys were arrested at Groene Kruisstraat.
The boys come from Rotterdam. What they did in Spijkenisse is not known.
08:15 am – Ferry service Maassluis Rozenburg stopped due to malfunction
Due to a technical malfunction, the Maassluis Rozenburg ferry service will be out of service indefinitely from 4 October, operator Blue Amigo reports. Buses are used for cyclists and pedestrians. It is unknown how long the outage will last. The ferry is located at Damen Schiedam. Earlier, the rush hour ferry of the ferry service failed. It is still waiting for repair.

On the A29 near the Heinenoordtunnel, two lanes were closed on Tuesday morning as a result of an accident. Several emergency services and a salvage service attended the scene. There was a 30 minute delay.
