Who will be the successor of IKEA? Candidates who want to compete for the Comeos Mercurius Prize, which awards innovative projects in the retail sector, can submit their application until June 10.
Creating impact
Every year, Comeos looks for retailers that make a difference with smart innovations. This year, the prestigious Mercurius Prize focuses on innovative projects that have a significant impact as a result. Because innovation is not an end in itself, it is a means to create impact. Projects can relate to data optimization, logistics, inventory management, personnel (policy), sales, sustainability, store concepts, etc.
Last year, IKEA won with autonomous drones that take inventory in Belgian stores at night. A year earlier it was Okay Direct, the automatic store of Colruyt Group. The prize gives the winner a lot of visibility. An honorable final place is also a boost for the teams involved.
Submitting a file is completely free and can be done until June 10 via the link below. An independent jury led by Gino Van Ossel will thoroughly analyze the files and announce the winner during a festive awards ceremony on October 16.
