The cliffhanger ended with Luuk and Linda breaking up again because Luuk definitely does not want to live together.

Linda doesn’t take half measures: she quits her job at the practice, packs her things and leaves the boat for Janine. Luuk thinks it is hasty, but also understands that not wanting to live together can be an insurmountable difference that means their relationship does not work.

They vent individually to Ludo and Janine, who make no bones about it: they have heard this story so many times… And it always turns out fine. Luuk and Linda themselves don’t think so this time because the relationship therapy has made it painfully clear to them how much they differ.

Ludo left relationship therapy last week because he thought everything was fine again after their weekend in Leiden. Janine thinks differently there and the atmosphere in the Sanders house remains icy. Especially if she decides to continue going to therapist Rianne, who finds the situation somewhat unusual.

Yet she helps Janine gain an important insight: she may say that Ludo does not see or appreciate her, but everything shows that he does find her opinion very important. Perhaps he is not the uncompromising bogeyman she has in mind after all. At the end of the session, Ludo himself shows up on the doorstep: he has decided to come along again.

The couple is given a stack of exercises, so they have to look at each other continuously for 4 minutes. That doesn’t work because Janine always thinks that Ludo is not taking it seriously. Ludo tells Luuk that he genuinely wants to do well, but that Janine is the one who keeps breaking things down.

This becomes clear again later in the week when Janine cannot even look at old family photos because she finds it too painful. Soon the tension rises so high that they get into a screaming argument and even consider breaking up. Rianne asks them the honest question whether they really want that. The answer is clear to both of them: no, they can’t imagine life without each other… But they also don’t see how to move forward.

Henk’s medical crisis

Henk has been on his toes as Laura’s informal caregiver in recent weeks and that takes its revenge when he also helps out late at De Koning during an unexpected free afternoon. When he walks home with Dolly in the evening, he suffers from severe pain and collapses.

Julian finds Henk in distress in the park

Dolly goes to get Julian, who discovers Henk in the park. An ambulance is quickly called and Henk is examined in the hospital while Julian goes home to take Dolly away and get Laura. They fear that there is something wrong with his heart, but it turns out to be only a severe attack of heartburn.

Luuk comes by for a home visit and finds that Henk is much too busy. He can’t even stop folding laundry during the consultation. It makes Julian and Elisa think: they have to help Henk take care of Laura and propose to help, complete with schedules. Both Henk and Laura don’t want to know about that.

After their first time, Marwan and Tamara circle around each other. She wants to keep it as professional as possible, he continues to seduce her with sexy messages until they finally agree to have a kiss in the elevator.

They are almost caught by Marcel who later tells Marwan that he really knows what is going on. When Marwan tells her about this later, Tamara is shocked, even though Marwan claims that Marcel is discreet. When she realizes that Marwan feels more for her than some casual fun, she breaks off contact.

Shanti is nervous about an important meeting with the management of her cosmetics company. Rik thinks she should ‘just’ pound her fist on the table, but she wants to convince people that she is right. When the men during the meeting laugh at her introduction, she makes short work: they are going to do it her way and nothing else.

Shanti is so happy with her decisiveness that she spontaneously invites Bing, Julian and Elisa for a friends lunch at De Rozenboom where Bing has to hear what Shanti has done for Julian and De Koning while he didn’t even get a loan. Bing pretends to be proud, but Rik points out the unequal situation to Shanti afterwards. However, she thinks he is being aggressive.

Nola passes out

Nola is not amused when she discovers that Troj is no longer working in Boks. She blames her father, but he explains that it was Troj’s own decision to work for another contractor. She reaches out to him and he explains that he still likes her but that he found the situation very awkward.

Soon they are kissing again and she texts her parents that she is going skating with Troj and having fries. But soon they are drinking vodka in the park. This took its revenge when Nola later fell unconscious from her stool in De Koning. Troj doesn’t know what to do, but Steef and Naomi immediately take action. They call an ambulance and keep Nola stable.

Steef tries to reach Bing and Nina, but they only respond once he is with her in the ambulance to the hospital. In the emergency room they diagnose acute alcohol poisoning. The nurse asks Steef to take a photo of Nola so that she can be confronted with her actions later.

When Bing and Nina arrive at the hospital, Troj also arrives. He tries to defend himself, but doesn’t get a chance to do so. As far as they’re concerned, he can never see Nola again. Troj leaves disappointed.

In the hospital, Bing and Nina get a sore reality check when a nurse asks them pointed questions about their own alcohol consumption. She has signed up the family for a voluntary course, which Nina initially finds unnecessary until she finds a bottle in Nola’s belongings that looks like water but is actually liquor.

When Nola regains consciousness, she immediately wants to know where Troj is. Nina and Bing are more interested in the question of how he got her drunk. Nola acquits her boyfriend: he is the sweetest boy she knows. And that vodka? She just took it from the drinks cabinet at home. Clearly there is work to be done to educate the young teen about the dangers of alcohol.

The emergency with Nola brings Steef and Naomi closer together. When they return home to the Palace after the incident, they are still so full of tension and adrenaline that Naomi cannot resist kissing Steef. He returns her kiss with love and before they know it, they wake up next to each other the next morning.

They look back on a successful night and have breakfast together. Marwan is so focused on the situation surrounding Tamara that he doesn’t even notice that his two housemates are coming from the same bedroom. All he notices from the wild night is a condom on the couch. He suspects that Steef de lucky guy and congratulates him on his conquest.

At the end of the week, Linda and Luuk will make another decision. Luuk thinks it’s terrible that she cut everything off so hastily, but understands that it is difficult for her to see him all the time. That is why he announces that he will be leaving Meerdijk for a while to go sailing. He quickly arranges a replacement for the practice, charters a friend’s sailing ship and insists that Linda continue to live on the Mathilde. After a short farewell to Ludo and Janine, Linda waves goodbye to her husband with tears in her eyes.

And further: Shanti is worth 90 million but thinks a new printer is an expense, Naomi believes that holiday travel is a basic right and between the companies toddler Max has changed his origins again.
