Finally the high word is out: this year too we can enjoy the Christmas tradition that princess Kate has started. Yesterday, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared the big news on their official Instagram page.

Together At Christmas

Royalty connoisseurs know that Christmas means that we can enjoy plenty of Christmas photos from different royal families from all over the world. And for a few years now, we have also been able to enjoy a very special event every December: since 2021, Princess Catherine has been organizing her Together At Christmas-employ. What started as a unique piece of togetherness during the pandemic has now grown into a beloved Christmas tradition.

Date set

After two successful events and a lot of rumors in recent weeks, the official announcement has now finally been made: the next edition of Together At Christmas place. With a photo of the princess in a Christmas atmosphere (that royalty watchers immediately recognized from last year), the crown prince couple announced the news.

The caption reads: “A very special one Carol Service, coming soon.” This year, the Princess is organizing her Christmas event together with her Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood – a charity she founded in the summer of 2021. The service will therefore be dedicated to all the people who are committed to helping the very young. “This will be a special time to thank those who do so much to support our babies, young children, and families in our communities through the United Kingdom,” the photo of the princess reads.

For example, the 2021 event focused on people committed to their community during the pandemic, and last year’s song service was dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth. With this year’s theme, Kate takes the opportunity to put her own charity organization in the spotlight.

Performances

Insiders report that this year’s service will include a ‘combination of traditional and modern elements’. This should make people of all faiths or people without faith feel seen. The guest list includes several members of the Windsor family, of course, as well as health experts, preschool teachers, midwives, and early childhood specialists.

During the service they can enjoy performances by, among other things Beverley Knight, Adam Lambert, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridingsand James Bay. Will the princess herself get behind the piano again? No statements have been made about this yet.

Those who do not receive an invitation themselves can enjoy the service on Christmas Eve via ITV1 and ITVX. Pleasant!
