A 34-year-old man was killed in a stabbing in an apartment in Julius De Geyterstraat on the border of Hoboken and Kiel in Antwerp on Sunday morning. His partner, a 32-year-old woman, was arrested. It concerns KDW, mother of five children.
The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office confirms that a fatal stabbing has taken place, but cannot yet provide much information about the context of the facts. According to our information, a 34-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and his 32-year-old partner was arrested.
The arrested woman, KDW, is the mother of five children. At least one of those children was present at the time of the fatal stabbing. The victim is the current partner of KDW. He was not registered at the address in Julius De Geyterstraat.
The public prosecutor’s office has requested an investigating judge for facts of murder, the laboratory of the federal judicial police is on site for a trace investigation.
The facts took place in a reception apartment of the Center for Integrated Family Care (CIG) De Stobbe, an organization located a little further down the street and which guides families with young children in a difficult parenting situation. The organization does not wish to comment on the facts for the time being.
