Lady Sarah Frances Elizabeth Armstrong-Jones, (known since her marriage as Lady Sarah Chatto) was born on May 1, 1964 on Kensington Palace. Lady Sarah is the second child from the marriage of Princess Margaret (1930-2002) and Antony Armstrong-Jones (1930-2017). Sarah has one older brother, David Armstrong-Jones. Lady Sarah is the niece of King Charles and was seventh in line to the British throne at birth. Sarah tied the knot with Daniel Chatto on July 17, 1994 St Stephen Walbrook Church in London. Together they have two children, Samuel David Benedict Chatto (1996) and Arthur Robert Nathaniel Chatto (1999).
In public
Sarah does not perform any public duties on behalf of the British Royal Family. We will see her appear during special events, such as the coronation of King Charles on May 6, 2023 Westminster Abbey.

Sarah shines as a bridesmaid
As a nine-year-old girl, Lady Sarah shines when she is present as a bridesmaid at Princess Anne’s wedding in 1973. The princess then marries Mark Philips. Sarah was also allowed to attend the wedding of the then Prince Charles and the late Diana (1961-1997) in 1981 as a bridesmaid.

Sarah takes a creative direction during her studies, when she works at… Camberwell School of Arts studies. Nowadays she expresses her creativity by making art paintings. For her work she received the Windsor & Newton price and the Creswick Landscape prize in 1990.
