Storytelling in combination with heavy metal? The German band Long Distance Calling can do that like no other. Scenarios about the future, death, technology and the environment are presented. No happy themes. But their band motto is: ‘Nothing can stop the inexorable progress of time, but music makes the journey more enjoyable.’ Eight albums, sold-out venues and world-class festivals are to their name. The band is known as one of the best live acts in their genre, and wants to show that on May 11 in De Helling.

Don’t look back with regret

Where: Theater Frog

Price: 9.50 to 19 euros

Don’t look back with regret by Davy Pieters, is about reflecting on the loss and finitude of everything.
