Drake responds to Kendrick

Drake is the subject of the song Euphoria, which Kendrick Lamar released yesterday. Although hip-hop fans had to wait a while for Kendrick’s response after Drake released two diss tracks towards the rapper, Drake appears not to be that impressed with the new track. On his Instagram Story, Drizzy compared the diss track to the famous poetry scene from the teen film 10 Things I Hate About You and posted a broken heart and a winking emoji. In the film, protagonist Julia Stiles recites a poem in which she speaks about the hatred she has for her crush feels. “I hate the way you talk to me and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car, I hate when you stare at me. I hate your big stupid combat boots and the way you mind reads. I hate it. It just makes me sick. IIt even makes me want to rhyme. I hate it – I hate the way you’re always right, I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry with laughter. I hate when you’re not here, and the fact that you haven’t called.”

If it were up to Drake’s Story, the lines of Julia Stiles and Kendrick Lamar are somewhat similar. In the track Euphoria, Kendrick Lamar also raps with various examples that he For All The Doggs-rapper hate. “It’s always been about love and hate, now let me tell you that I’m the biggest hater. I hate the way you walk, the way you talk. I hate the way you dress, I hate the way you sneak disst.”
