The bitcoin (BTC) price is a lot better today than yesterday. Yesterday the price was in its danger zone around $61,000 for a long time, but it has now been left far behind. The bitcoin price has undergone a strong recovery in a short period of time, causing many altcoins to turn dark green. Solana (SOL) and toncoin (TON) are among the best performing cryptocurrencies today.
BTC price rebounds from $61,000
Yesterday you could read in the morning update that bitcoin had tested its crucial support level of $61,000 that night. However, after the price had rebounded to a few hundred dollars below $62,000, the price fell again.
The pullback brought the price back to the crucial $61,000. At the beginning of the afternoon, the price dipped below this price level for a short time, with an absolute bottom at $60,700.
At that time, there was a lot of fear in the crypto market that bitcoin would fall towards $57,000 again, just like last week. However, nothing turned out to be further from the truth; by the end of the afternoon the price shot well past $62,000, which greatly improved market sentiment.
The price has now even flown past $63,000, and the next resistance around $64,000 is within reach again. If BTC successfully passes this price level, the zone around $66,000 will be the next obstacle.
At the time of writing, the BTC price on crypto exchange Bybit powered by SATOS is equal to $63,070. On the Dutch crypto exchange Bitvavo, the BTC price in euros amounts to 58,492. Compared to 24 hours ago, BTC is up 2.49%.
Crypto top 10 skyrockets, SOL and TON excel
Bitcoin’s sharp price increase has logically given the rest of the market a huge boost. Almost every major altcoin is turning green today, with some notable price increases.
Within the top 10 crypto coins, only BNB (BNB) and ripple (XRP) are facing a (slight) price drop of 1.03% and 0.52% respectively. The rest are all at a higher price than 24 hours ago. For example, ethereum (ETH) rose by 1.58%, dogecoin (DOGE) by 3.20% and cardano (ADA) by 1.95%.
Solana and toncoin are currently stealing the show, with increases of 6.76% and 12.89% respectively. There do not appear to be any specific reasons for the large increases.
