Gelderland is working on its own approach for the legalization of PAS detectors. This consists of several tracks.

To legalize PAS reporters, the provincial government is committed to visiting all PAS reporters. In addition, the council wants to work on a specific subsidy scheme for PAS detectors who invest in measures that reduce ammonia emissions.

The Provincial Executive of Gelderland is starting a lobby towards the central government to immediately use the nitrogen space obtained through the withdrawal of permits from participants in the LBV+ termination scheme for PAS detectors and nature in Gelderland. The provincial government also wants to argue with the government for the possibility of a permit for PAS detectors for internal netting. Minister Van der Wal should ask the Council of State for advice on this.

The emission space that remains from the purchases of livestock farms for the construction of nature and roads is used to maximum effect. Where necessary, space is used through emission allowances from the Gelderland Nitrogen Bank. The council will also promote the linking of nitrogen emission capacity from various national and provincial nitrogen banks.
