Anya Taylor-Joy secretly married Malcolm McRae two years ago. The acting couple then tied the knot, the 27-year-old actress confirmed on Instagram.
“Two years ago, on April 1, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans,” Taylor-Joy writes about McRae, who also acts and is active in the rock band more*. “The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my body, forever. Happy second (first) anniversary my love, you are the coolest.”
The actress also shares several photos and a video of her Dior wedding dress. The embroidery on the dress, including a bird and flowers, represents the couple’s “love story”.
reported last fall DailyMail that the actress had just gotten married in Venice. It is possible that the actress celebrated her wedding in multiple ceremonies.
As an actress, Taylor-Joy is best known for her leading role in the series The Queen’s Gambit. She also starred in films like Last Night in Soho and TheMenu. She can currently be seen in theaters in a supporting role Dune: Part Two.
