The Swedish Christmas Market will return to the former Sugar Factory in Groningen this weekend after a three-year absence. On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December, Christmas lovers can find an original Christmas present at this cozy Christmas market.
The Christmas market consists of 100 nice Swedish shop addresses where Scandinavian and handmade products are for sale. From lifestyle to living, beauty and handmade. There is also live music, cabaret, an activity programme, food and drink and three large terraces.
The activity program also offers a workshop, a packing workshop, a wishing tree and a Photobooth. Music is also not lacking with different singer-songwriters and different choirs.
There are fun activities for the youngest visitors, including decorating cakes or painting a mini moose and there is a gnome scavenger hunt through the Sugar Factory.
The Swedish Christmas Market can be visited on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The entrance is 8.50 euros online or 9.00 euros at the box office. (Children up to 12 years free).
