Seven children were injured in a shooting near a shopping center in America on Saturday evening (local time). The victims are between 12 and 17 years old.

The police in Indianapolis suspect that an argument or disturbance was the cause. The emergency services were alerted around 11:30 PM, when the shopping center was already closed.

According to a police spokeswoman, seven children are in hospital with gunshot wounds. None of them are in a critical situation. It is the third shooting in three weekends in Indianapolis, Indiana’s largest city.

No suspect has been arrested. No description has been distributed either. The police say they are conducting a thorough investigation into what happened.
