This week is already sold out dB’s final party and you will hear a lot music on King’s Night and Day. These are our other live tips for this week. You can find more performances in our concert agenda.

  • Wednesday April 24: EKKO presents during the week of Earth Day (April 22) ECO EKKO. On this evening, a collective of four young artists connects musicians and writers to shed light on the climate problem in a positive way. There is musical poetry, soundscapes, intimate lectures and an exhibition in the café. The banging ending is Klezmagic. (6:30 pm/€13)
  • Wednesday April 24: ACU has an evening with noise from Melting Minds, Nothing is Noise, Frank Vis and While (Zeno):Return false. (7.45 pm/between €8 and €15)
  • Thursday April 25: The Utrecht collective .Multibeat (photo) connects modern hip-hop sound with colorful jazz and R&B influences. On their debut album Channel Island they collaborate with many different vocalists. GINGE, Thierry Ganz, Joya Mooi and Leonard Luka will also be at the release show tonight EKKOWhere Hatoon support is. (7.30 pm/€16)
  • Thursday April 25: The U-RAP Open Mic offers an open stage every month The Kargadoor where novice and experienced MCs, rappers and producers get the opportunity to showcase their music. Are you an artist and do you want to be on stage in the Werfkelder? Then you have to be there. (8 p.m./€5)
  • Thursday April 25: TivoliVredenburg presents the first edition of Unravel. Pianist and gold record collector Rangel Silaev takes its place in the middle of Pandora. With collaborations with Mula B, Frenna and Lijpe on the one hand and self-written neoclassical compositions on the other, classically trained Silaev proves that music cannot be pigeonholed. (8.15 pm/€19)
  • Friday April 26: Utregticana celebrates the 100th edition (!). The Kargadoor. The men of the band Van Piekeren invite other artists every last Friday of the month to play a set in an acoustic singer-songwriter setting. The anniversary is celebrated with a big party full of music. The line-up includes familiar faces and new talent: Lampje, Hamid (with Harold K), Björn van Rozen, Red Oak Troubadours, The Milk, Acoustic Garden and Flip the Bird. (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM/€5)
  • Sunday April 28: Roodnoot, Sarah Holwerda and Levi Boon tour with the three of them and bring a musical ode to connection and togetherness during their shows. In EKKO she will be playing with full bands tonight. (7.30 pm/€14)
