Vicky

“Eleven years ago I graduated from the School of Journalism in Utrecht with the dream of going out into the world as a travel journalist. And I did that – for about five years. After that period I settled back in my beloved Utrecht. Ten years later I still live, work and live in the heart of the city, with my boyfriend Justin and our daughter Zoë (1). I recently became part of the Indebuurt family: so I wrote this nice Binnenkijker about this bizarre house.”

Anael

“I am co-owner of Eureka Editions, a bookstore and publisher in Utrecht. Of course I love books but also art and painting. Growing up in the French Alps, I have a deep love and passion for mountains, nature and outdoor sports such as hiking and climbing.”

Douwe

“I have been living in Utrecht for a year and a half now, the city where I was born. I started my studies here, but I soon noticed that the study did not suit me. Now I study Built Environment in Amsterdam. I share a student house in Utrecht with three other roommates and enjoy everything student life has to offer. And that’s a lot. You never get bored in a city like Utrecht.”

Laura

“I work in the city center of Utrecht at the Noeloe concept store in Zadelstraat. I am also busy with my master’s degree in law with a specialization in Internet, Intellectual Property & ICT. I live in Amsterdam with my Corgi Jake, but since my youth I have had a preference for Utrecht. The city is a cozy place where you always feel welcome. The nicest treasures can be found in the small streets.”

Sten

“My name is Sten, I have been living in Utrecht for almost 8 years now. I once started my career as an online marketer and casting director at a voice-over agency, then I moved into music at bol.com and I have now been working as head of marketing at stage and club De Helling for two years. It’s easy to get excited about new bands, special beers and obscure facts.”

Tessa and Jordi

“We are Tessa (30) and Jordi (27) Stoop. For a year now we have promised ourselves to discover something new every week in our beautiful city of Utrecht! So we already have a nice list of places we have visited. You can regularly find us in the city center. Furthermore, Tessa in particular has a huge preference for Kanaalstraat and Amsterdamsestraatweg. There are so many nice places to have coffee or work together here! Tessa also likes to explore the library and small cafes looking for new things to do. There is so much to discover. We both love adventure and good food, but otherwise we don’t have much in common. Jordi likes cooking, Tessa likes painting. We will soon be moving to Zuilen, we are very curious about what adventures await us there!”
