Anyone who has ever wanted to see Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix completely naked should go Joker: Folie à Deux. The film about Batman’s supervillain and arch-rival has been given an R rating for extreme violence and full nude scenes.
How perfect the chemistry is between Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix as Joker was already evident from previous images. And those chemical compounds apparently lead to making passionate love in between all the violence.
R-rated for Joker: Folie à Deux
The successor of Joker (2019), the film that won Joaquin Phoenix an Oscar for Best Actor, was given an R rating by the Motion Picture Association today (April 3). This is the second strictest viewing warning. Only NC-17 comes above that.
NC-17 means that no one aged 17 or younger is allowed to watch the film. As a 17-year-old, you can only watch films with an R rating with an adult next to you for guidance. Parents are urged to find out more about the film before bringing their pre-adult children. In case of Joker: Folie à Deux does that mean extreme violence and complete nudity, reports Variety. The film will premiere on April 4, 2024.
Lady Gaga as an actress
Lady Gaga was once mainly a singer and red carpet queen, but nowadays she can be seen in more and more films as an actress. Rolling in with her House of Gucci and A Star is Born she mainly delivered a strong acting performance, although the pedantic Gucci family thought she sounded mainly Russian instead of Italian.
