Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp spoke very positively at the press conference on Friday about his possible successor at Liverpool, Arne Slot. The German thinks that the current Feyenoord coach would be a good trainer for Liverpool.
“If he is, it will be a good choice. I like how he makes his team play.”
“In the past, other members of my staff have also been granted a nice step. Now I’m really not asking for a favor, when you see the amounts that are being deposited. I have every confidence that everything will turn out well,” said Slot . “I think a very good offer has already been made by Liverpool.”

Klopp has not spoken to the Dutchman and says he does not know him personally. “But people say about him that he is a good guy. I like that. A good trainer and a good person. If he is the solution and succeeds me, then I am happy with that.”
Liverpool’s success coach did not have many words left for his colleague, but did mention that Slot ends up at a club with ‘fantastic people’. “It’s the best job in the world. A very interesting one too.”
