Martijn Krabbendam thinks that Feyenoord wants to make major purchases next summer in order to fully compete for the national title. According to the Feyenoord watcher, players with more than 10 million can certainly come to Rotterdam.

The Dick Voormekaar Podcast discusses the upcoming transfer summer of the Rotterdam formation. “Feyenoord wants a difference maker like Anis Hadj Moussa,” says Krabbendam. “But the real difference makers cost more than ten million. The club can do that in the future window spend, as money comes in and players leave. The income should simply be invested in players of more than ten million.”

The analyst of Football International is already getting ahead of things. “PSV has now become champion (not yet at the time of writing, ed.). Slot says: if we want to join PSV… They have copied us, we now have to copy PSV, by making that kind of expenditure. You can I assume that will happen.”

The other table guests of the podcast doubt whether the current number two in the Eredivisie can pay these kinds of amounts for players. However, Krabbendam is certain. “Players worth ten to fifteen million, sure, Feyenoord can certainly afford that. The salaries too, they are working on expanding that salary house. Otherwise you can’t get those players, but that has to be done. They want a kind of Danjuma-like footballer. Maybe it will actually come.”
