with photosCyclist Puck Moonen (26) is madly in love with British former racing driver Callan O’Keeffe. That’s what the two from the rooftops are shouting on Instagram. O’Keeffe turns out to be a fan of striking jokes.
“Not a fan of Valentine’s Day, but of you,” Moonen writes in a series of romantic snapshots from Dubai. Entirely in line with the day of love, the two posed, among other things, with a huge heart-shaped statue. O’Keeffe is very happy that he won the heart of Puck, in 2017 by men’s magazine FHM voted most beautiful sportswoman in the Netherlands. He didn’t decorate her in the traditional way.
“The decision to take your family hostage is the best decision I ever made,” he joked under the post. Bit scary? Puck thinks not. “I promise I won’t run if you release them,” she replies. “I developed Stockholm syndrome, so we’re good.” This syndrome is about people who become victims of, for example, a kidnapping and then develop sympathy for the perpetrator.
Past relationships with athletes
Born in South Africa, O’Keeffe (26) was the youngest member of the Red Bull Junior Team in 2016 and was considered a promising new talent at the time. In recent years, however, he hardly raced and nowadays he trains other drivers with his own company to go as fast as possible on the track.
Moonen, who is also popular on Instagram with 731,000 followers, previously had a relationship with Belgian cyclist Eli Iserbyt for almost four years. She lived with him in Belgium. After the split she moved in with her parents, later she got together with former world champion BMX Twan van Gendt and bought a house with him.
