“Feyenoord is simply a good team and they deserved the win, especially in the second half,” Jans says about the recent match against Feyenoord via FC Utrecht’s club channels. “I think that individually a number of boys played a good match. Feyenoord was pushed to the limit to achieve that victory.”
Now PEC Zwolle is waiting. “Recover, rest and then the next match comes,” says Jans, who talks about injuries in his selection. “There were two question marks before the training but they are gone, it looks positive. Last week at the end of the week Marouan Azarkan dropped out with a muscle injury, he will not be there tomorrow either. We will bring in Lynden Edhart for him of Jong FC Utrecht in the selection.”
“It won’t be easy,” the trainer knows. “You also see it, Heracles Almelo 1-0, NEC 1-0, you have to fight to win those matches and I expect that again tomorrow,” the Domstedelingen coach concludes.
