In NEC on Rapport, every NEC player who has played for at least half an hour receives a grade. This figure is given by a multi-member editorial team, consisting of fans of the Nijmegen club. NEC drew 1-1 against Fortuna Sittard yesterday, but could not complain afterwards with the final result.

Jasper Cillessen 8
Just like against PSV, Jasper Cillessen was again the best man on the field. Certainly in the first half a number of shots were fired at him, but the Groesbeker could not be passed. He did what he could for the equalizer, but it wasn’t enough.

Brayann Pereira 4.5
The replacement for the injured Bart van Rooij was taken off the field after half. According to Rogier Meijer, it was because he had just returned from an injury, but the game was anything but satisfactory. Brayann Pereira was not accurate on the ball and was too aggressive.

(46′ Sontje Hansen) 5
Sontje Hansen is in a slump. Not only is he struggling with his form, he is also not fit at the moment. That is why Meijer was forced to remove the substitute attacker after half an hour. At that point he had accomplished little.

Philippe Sandler 5
Normally Philippe Sandler is flawless on the ball, but against Fortuna the central defender was quite sloppy. Moreover, he looked quite unhappy on the equalizer, where the ball went through his legs to reach Kaj Sierhuis.

Bram Nuytinck 5.5
Up to and including the goal, Bram Nuytinck actually defended quite well, but his error in judgment with the long ball to Alessio Da Cruz cost points.

Calvin Verdonk 4.5
Taking a very unnecessary yellow card in the 87th minute, which means you have to miss the derby with Vitesse… Normally Calvin Verdonk is a crowd favorite, but this was extremely clumsy of him.

Mees Hoedemakers 6.5
A midfield without Mees Hoedemakers is now unimaginable in Nijmegen. In a match in which NEC’s field play was mainly snowed under, Hoedemakers did what he could to find the attack. The highlight was the beautiful assist to González.

Tjaronn Chery 4.5
It was already said in advance that Tjaronn Chery would not play an entire match due to fitness. Perhaps in retrospect you could say that he was perhaps brought in a bit too early, because he was not a shadow of himself.

(46′ Yvandro Borges Sanches) 6
The loanee from Borussia Mönchengladbach brought something in the second half that was missing in the first half: a winger with an individual action. Yvandro Borges Sanches is quite good on the ball in his dribbling and provided the necessary danger.

Kodai Sano 6
The Japanese midfielder is where the trainer needs him. Whether that is left winger, ten or eight. Yesterday Kodai Sano worked hard as usual, but there was no danger towards the Limburg goal.

Rober González 6.5
From the assumption at the goal you can see that there is a lot of football talent hidden in the Spaniard. Rober González started as a right winger, but was rarely featured there. After the break he was closer to ten and scored the beautiful opening goal.

Koki Ogawa 5
Koki Ogawa was ill last weekend and was perhaps not yet at full energy, as the Japanese striker barely featured in the game. So rest well and be ready for Sunday, where he can become even more of a crowd favorite.

Youri Baas 6
Against an attacking team like PSV it made sense to have Youri Baas as a left winger. But as a real attacker he falls short. In the second half he played well again as a left back.

Substitutes Lars Olden Larsen, Sylla Sow and Nils Rossen played too short a time to qualify for an assessment.
