Marcel Brands is charmed by Noa Lang. The general manager of PSV calls Lang a ‘great guy, who is always concerned with the team’s interests’. Lang’s first season in Eindhoven was largely ruined due to a hamstring injury, much to Brands’ disappointment.
“I recently visited him during his rehabilitation in Amsterdam,” Brands said on Sunday Good morning Eredivisie. “He is a great guy who is always concerned with the interests of the team. He always ignores himself.” Brands also gives an example: for a long time, it was very important that the players’ friends and relatives could be present at the possible championship match against Sparta Rotterdam next Sunday.

“Last night he called me: ‘Marcel, there are only a few tickets available for our group of players next Sunday. Is there anything else you can do?’ He is then the one who worries about that for the rest of the players,” said Brands. “He has his own box, so that says something about him. He is always busy with the team. I sincerely hope that he will be back on the field soon. Noa has a very small heart, but a very good heart.”
PSVstriker Johan Bakayoko approached the club management at the beginning of February after a statement by technical director Earnest Stewart in Studio Voetbal.
