PSV coach Peter Bosz is not very happy that Noa Lang recently explained on Instagram why he was sidelined for so long this season. According to Bosz, the attacker could have done that in a different way.

Lang wrote in a post that he was misdiagnosed with a hamstring injury three times and had glandular fever. The ten-time international of the Dutch team only made eleven appearances for PSV this season.

Bosz was asked on Friday during his weekly press moment about the message that Lang had posted. “I didn’t think that was wise and not the right stage,” said the PSV coach.

“I understand that he had to keep his mouth shut for a long time and that everyone is writing something in the meantime. That is not always easy. Although this is not the right platform to say this. But with us that is absolutely no problem.”

PSV took over Lang from Club Brugge in the summer last year for around 12 million euros. The former Ajax player is therefore one of the most expensive purchases in club history. Only Hirving Lozano and Mateja Kezman were paid more.

Without Lang in the team, PSV were crowned national champions on Sunday with a 4-2 win over Sparta Rotterdam. The Eindhoven team will play against Fortuna Sittard on Sunday and end the season next week with a home match against RKC Waalwijk.
