Dacia is doing well in Belgium. The Sandero and the Sandero Stepway are proving particularly popular with the private buyer, which means that the Romanian Renault subsidiary will be sold in 2022 almost as many cars sold as the French mother house. And 2023 should be even more successful.
In addition to the new house style, the manufacturer mainly relies on the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140, but the new Dacia Spring Electric 65 Extreme must also contribute. Both models are standing as a premiere at the Brussels Motor Show, which takes place from 14 to 23 January 2023.
Extreme
The “Extreme” in Dacia Spring Electric 65 Extreme refers to a new, more adventurous trim level that will later also be available on the Sandero, Jogger and Duster. The Dacia Spring Extreme’s body is painted in the version-specific paint color Stone Wash Blue and welcomes, in addition to a special striping, a lot of copper-colored design details (roof rails, side mirrors, logo, …).
The interior of the Dacia Spring Extreme also gets an adventurous makeover. The door sills and floor mats bear a topographical motif, while the inlays on the door panels and around the ventilation openings and navigation module are colored copper. The stitching and the Dacia logos on the seats are also copper-coloured.
The Extreme version of the Dacia Spring replaces the Expression trim level, which has so far convinced 8 out of 10 private customers.
Electric 65
The “Electric 65” in Dacia Spring Electric 65 Extreme refers to the more powerful electric motor, which now puts 65 hp on the front wheels. There is also a modified transmission, which would make the resumptions a lot smoother. The battery pack is not touched, the Dacia Spring Electric 65 also uses a battery pack with a capacity of 27.4 kWh. This means that this city SUV can travel 220 kilometers on a single battery charge.
That is 10 kilometers less than the less efficient Dacia Sprint Electric 45, which remains in the range in the Essential finish level. As Electric 65 you can only order the Dacia Spring as Extreme.
What is the price of the Dacia Spring Extreme?
You can order the Dacia Spring Electric 65 Extreme from January 14, 2023, not coincidentally the day on which the Brussels Motor Show opens its doors to the general public. The first deliveries are planned for this summer.
Dacia Spring Electric 65 Extreme costs 22,690 euros.
