Beverwijk – They have lived for it for a long time, the makers of the films that were judged by the Tour Jury. No fewer than 6 films from Film Club IJmond were projected on a large white screen on March 26.
They were beautiful and good films. One of the films originated from a club assignment about your hobby. Very strange. An expert jury assessed the films on their tenor, story structure and cinematic design. In a summary assessment, the jury members gave their opinion, mostly with constructive criticism.
Eric clearly wins the 1st prize, the Club Cup and is Club Champion 2024!
Eric has proven to be a good filmmaker with an eye for detail and music. For this film, Eric regularly went to the coast of IJmuiden with his dog. “I always have my iPhone with me and if I see something interesting I record it. At home I look at the images and ‘throw away’ what is not good.”
The jury’s verdict was: “It’s great how IJmuiden is portrayed. Less storyline, but the boat that sails out and docks again is somewhat the common thread. The images are distinctive and very beautifully filmed. The characteristic graffiti drawings are also beautifully depicted. Beautiful drone images. Fantastic music. The atmosphere was created perfectly. The live sound was not always optimal. The subtitles were sometimes very large but very correctly formulated. Film technically nothing to comment on. With 228 points, Eric will take the film to the film festival in the Stoomhal in Wormerveer on April 28.”
